The concerts at Blue Note Hawaii are in the books now. We all left the island feeling full of joy from the experience. We met some wonderful people and some of the shows were absolutely transcendent experiences. Some of the fans shared what the shows meant – even those who came in skeptical about Shalamar Reloaded. We know there are those who come to judge us – sitting with crossed arms. Before they know it they are caught up and having an outstanding time and impressed with the show and presentation..before we head into Jody Watley world in the show. It’s about love and embracing who you are on this journey of life. That is our message. It’s more than a concert – it’s a life affirming experience.
Thanks again Blue Note Hawaii, a wonderful staff and all who came out for being great and making us feel so welcomed.
While we were in Honolulu, Nate, Rosero and I also hung and and ate good food and had fun conversations and laughs..we also had two days of early calls to film a new music video for ‘The Mood’ which will be on the forthcoming “Bridges” collection.
Not long after we arrived – I saw the most beautiful rainbow of my life..it soon turned into a double rainbow. For me, it was a heaven sent message from the universe to stay focused on the positive and there is always a higher power and force in control.
